How the default form works

Visitor fills out the form

Spam protection

Cloudflare Turnstile verifies the visitor is human. No CAPTCHAs to solve — it works invisibly in the background.

Delivery

A Cloudflare Worker sends the message to your email via Cloudflare's email routing. No third-party service involved — your data never leaves Cloudflare's network.

You reply

The visitor's email is in the "from" field, so you just hit Reply. The conversation continues in your regular email — no dashboard, no login, no app.

No monthly fees

The form runs on Cloudflare Workers' free tier. Zero cost to operate, no matter how many submissions you receive.

No data stored

Messages go straight to your inbox. Nothing is saved on a server or database. When the email is delivered, the Worker is done.

Spam protection

Cloudflare Turnstile blocks bots without annoying your visitors. No squinting at crosswalks or typing distorted text.

Privacy-first

No tracking, no cookies, no third-party JavaScript — except the Turnstile challenge script, which is privacy-respecting by design.

Accessible

Proper labels, focus states, keyboard navigation, and screen reader support. WCAG AA compliant so every visitor can reach you.

When you need more

The default form handles most use cases. But if you outgrow it, here are your options.

Multiple forms

Need separate forms for different purposes — support, sales, careers? I can set up multiple forms with different email destinations on the same site.

Form builder services

If you need conditional logic, file uploads, or payment collection, a dedicated form builder is the way to go:

Tally — Free, privacy-focused, generous free tier. Good for surveys and complex forms.
Formspree — Simple form backend. Free tier for personal use.
Typeform — Beautiful interactive forms. Paid, but great UX for complex intake forms.

CRM integration

If you need form submissions to go into a CRM like HubSpot or Salesforce, a form builder service with integration support is the way to go. Tally and Formspree both connect to popular CRMs.

Booking and scheduling

If you need appointment booking rather than a message form, a scheduling tool is a better fit. Cal.com (open source) and Calendly both integrate cleanly — just ask me to set one up.
